automated_home_income_streamsI hate to break it to you, but if you think that earning passive income online means that you don’t have to work in order to earn money, you’re dead wrong.

Not only that, but if you believe that you’re far more likely to fall for a scam online that tried to convince you that it is true.

In this post I’ll talk about why automated home income streams don’t work. Click here for more info on how to make money online for a beginner.

Why Truly Automated Home Income Is A Myth

In order to understand why automated home income streams don’t work, you need to get that true automation is a myth when it comes to earning online money.

Content Can’t Be Automated

The most important reason why automated home income streams don’t work is because in order to be successful for the long term you need to be creating high quality content.

This is content that can’t be spun by software. Even as article writing software gets better, the software that can spot this automatic content gets better too, so it’s a no-winner game of chase.

Humans creating content for humans is what the web is all about, and Google and the other search engines work hard to make sure that those are the results that get displayed and the ones that get the good traffic.

Even Automation Takes Work

Can you use technology to help ease some tasks and take the nitty gritty, repetitive work off your shoulders? Of course you can, but you can’t ever build a true business using automation alone.

Even if you incorporate state of the art technology to help build your business, don’t be fooled into thinking that leveraging those tools is going to make it possible for you to sit back and sip margaritas all day. You will still have to manage the entire process of automation, and chances are you’re going to have to jump through a lot of hoops just to make sure they stay profitable.

For example, one huge set of companies making money online are doing it through black hat marketing. This marketing technique is the “Google illegal” technique, which uses automation to essentially create spam, fake a valid search result and earn money from the traffic before Google penalizes them and they have to start over.

While you can make money doing this, gaming search algorithms just doesn’t seem like a sustainable business model.

I’m not trying to say that you can’t make a living online and that that money can’t be passive. You can make a ton of money, but it’s not going to come without honest work. Click here to read more on the truth about online passive income.
