Real business opportunities exist whenever there is a gap in a market ecosystem. That is, whenever the supply can’t keep up with demand.

There are such gaps all over the place when it comes to online marketing as a whole, and affiliate sites are particularly effective at filling in those gaps.

Brands will always need more customers, and people will always need to find reliable, unbiased information. That, in a nutshell, is why these websites work.

The “Catch”

If you’re like me, anytime you consider any business deal or opportunity, you’re always trying to figure out what the catch is.

With internet marketing, the catch is more about dealing with popular misconceptions than anything.

Affiliate marketing is NOT a way to earn free money. It is a way to build a viable business, but you WILL HAVE TO WORK for that business.

That’s the real secret to success online.

If you think you can sit down and earn money without having to do anything, then yes, that is too good to be true.

If you think that you can earn a nice return by diligently working towards a business goal, then no, there’s no other gimmick at play.
